Gilera Motorcycle Scooters are made by Piaggio of Italy, the world’s fourth largest motorcycle manufacturer.  The brand was founded in 1909 by Giuseppe Gilera and has been part of Piaggio since 1969.  Gilera are well known for their sports bikes, and have featured prominently in Grand Prix.

Gilera means reliable, modern machines that are a bit different, bridging the gap between scooters and motorcycles.  Scooter lovers will like traditional scooter features such as leg protection and windshields, while enjoying the powerful engines and fast acceleration times.
